🇮🇸 Norðanátt: STARTUP STORM BEGINS IN AUTUMN

Applications for the accelerator have been opened GANGSETNING STORMS – Vaxtarrými for northern shoots.
Startup Storm is a seven-week accelerator focused on sustainability, focusing on food, water and energy, giving participants the opportunity to promote themselves and their businesses and grow with the wind at their backs.
The accelerator is built on the model of business accelerators and programmes are specially designed with the needs of the teams involved in mind, thereby influencing the education available to them.
Startup Stormur mostly takes place online, but the teams meet three times during the project in workshops at selected locations in North Iceland. Participants get to know experienced mentors, entrepreneurs, investors and business managers, attend workshops and educational meetings and form strong networks with each other.
The aim is to seek participants, i.e. entrepreneurs, new companies and innovation projects within established companies in North Iceland that have come from the concept stage.
A briefing on Startup Storm will take place on September 5th via the internet – more details on timing and announced further as we get closer.
Startup Storm begins on October 4 and ends on November 16 with a final event where the participating teams hold investor presentations.
The application deadline is September 21st.
