🇸🇪 Candela has raised an additional €14 million, bringing total Series C funding for 2024 to $40 million

We are thrilled to announce that Candela has raised an additional €14M, bringing total Series C funding for 2024 to $40M.

Led by SEB Private Equity, with support from EQT Ventures and KanDela AB, this investment will help accelerate the production of the world’s first electric hydrofoil ferry, Candela P-12. Already transforming public transport in Stockholm, P-12 will be introduced in several new markets in the coming years, including Germany, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand – and soon the US.
