🇸🇪 Leya: Announcing $25m in Series A
Leya has raised a $25 million Series A led by Redpoint, with participation from Y Combinator, Benchmark, Alt Capital, and Wayfinder Ventures.
Dear Leya partners,
We are excited to share that we have raised a $25 million Series A led by Redpoint with participation from existing investors Benchmark, Y Combinator, Wayfinder Ventures, and the addition of Alt Capital. Redpoint partners Jacob Effron and Logan Bartlett join the board, two exceptional individuals who share our vision for how AI will transform legal work.
Lawyers often face manual, repetitive tasks that hinder their ability to focus on impactful, strategic work. What if we could make them all 10 times more productive and generate higher-quality results?
We have been obsessed with this mission for half a decade. It made us begin exploring BERT models for Swedish legal sources already in our student dorms. From there, it took us to a conference room at Mannheimer Swartling and then on a few round trips to San Francisco. And now, it’s led us to the next chapter in our story.
At Leya, we combine cutting-edge AI with building world-class products and engineering. The dedication, creativity, and perseverance of the Leya team, as they collaborate to deliver delightful features and address our clients’s most pressing problems, continue to impress.
We are proud that Leya is becoming an intelligent platform that assists lawyers with specific tasks, connecting to your firm’s documents, playbooks, templates, and public legal information. So when reviewing, searching, or drafting, Leya is there to help quickly turn over a contract, draft a report, or fill in a checklist for a transaction.
Thank you for choosing us over the status quo, believing in our long-term vision, and sharing continuous product feedback. Today’s news is as much your success as it is ours. Together, we are shaping the future of legal work.
We can’t wait to show you what’s next.
All our best,
Max, August, and Sigge
