🇸🇪 NYAB receives order for power line construction worth SEK 122.1m
NYAB has signed a contract for the construction of the new overhead lines from the new Degerträsk station to the steel mill and hydrogen plant in the Svartbyn operating area, also known as Boden Industrial Park. The purpose of the lines is to supply power to H2 Green Steel’s operations.
The value of the project amounts to SEK 122.1 million.
“This project win is an important step in NYAB Sweden’s expansion within energy. It clearly demonstrates the competence and expertise we possess in power line construction,” says Mikael Ritola, COO at NYAB.
“Without all the committed and competent employees that everyday build our success and contribute to our strong reference projects, we would not be here today. I am very much looking forward to starting this contract and would like to thank everyone who contributed“, says Daniel Johansson, Business Area Manager Industry & Energy at NYAB.
The project, commissioned by Vattenfall Eldistribution, is scheduled to start in July 2024 and to be completed no later than December 31, 2025.
