Re:meat has successfully oversubscribed its funding round, raising €1 million from tech
investors, family offices and business angels dedicated to improve resilience and help save
our planet by redefining how meat ends up on our plates.

This milestone was made possible by impact investor 8+ Ventures, alongside visionary
backers such as Kristofer Forss (founder of Bastard Burgers), Judith Wolst (founder of
SusTechable), Jon Persson and Erik Rosengren (co-founders of Söderberg & Partners) and
Skåne Ventures, along with influenSal angel investors from the food, tech and investment
sector.

“Readiness in Smes of crisis starts with resilient food systems. By invesSng in our technology
today, we are building a future where naSons are beUer prepared, more self-sufficient, and
ready to face whatever geopoliScal or climate related challenges that lie ahead. We’ve
assembled the right mix of experSse, but more importantly, the determinaSon to
fundamentally transform the way we produce meat.“ says Jacob Schaldemose Peterson, CEO
at Re:meat®.

CulSvated meat must be tasty and affordable to make a real impact. Re:meat’s modular
brewing-inspired and food grade technology is designed for cost-efficiency, making it possible
for food companies to integrate culSvated meat into everyday meals – without the luxury
price tag. The capital raised will fuel the launch of Scandinavia’s first Re:meatery — think of it
as a ‘meat brewery’ led by a ‘meat master’! Re:meat is inviSng food businesses to sign up for
a Re:meatery already today to secure future resilient protein supply for tomorrow.
Re:meat is STING supported and also obtained the highly compeSSve and presSgious
Vinnova grant AcceleraSon of Deeptech companies earlier in the fall of 2024.
