9Solutions’ board of directors has appointed Kim Pomoell as CEO from September 1, 2022. Sami Herrala continues in the position of Chief Business Development Officer. Sami will also continue to be part of the management team and a member of the board.
“9Solutions has grown strongly since its founding. The main driver behind this change is securing the company’s growth. It must be ensured that 9Solutions is able to continuously renew itself. Having Kim as CEO enables me to focus more on strategic projects, such as strengthening the partnership ecosystem and further developing the technology, product and service concept portfolios.” says Herrala.
The company’s goal is to affect ever-increasing health care costs and support health care professionals by freeing up time for nursing work with smart software. In order to reach this goal, the company is constantly developing its SaaS software platform for healthcare customers, and releasing new solutions that utilize location data and artificial intelligence.
“The change of CEO at this stage will certainly take our company’s business to the next level. Our foundation is strong, we have a great team, a strong market position and products that customers appreciate, so Kim can focus on accelerating international growth right from the start. The financial position of the company is also good; the €4 million share issue carried out with Springvest Oyj in June enables us to focus on growth,” says Herrala.
