Last year, over 800 visitors came to the Green Future exhibition, including foreign delegations, investors, and company representatives. All were interested in learning more about Iceland’s novel approaches to sustainable energy, circular economy, and green solutions. Here the government visits the exhibition.

Last Friday, the Icelandic government held a meeting at Business Iceland’s office in Gróska. The ministers took a short break from discussions in the middle of the day to view the Green Future exhibition, a joint project between Business Iceland and Green by Iceland. Green Future examines Iceland’s history and success with renewable energy implementation. It also looks at Iceland’s goals in climate matters and shares some of the green solutions and innovations that Icelandic companies have developed and now offer abroad.

Gagarín, an experience design studio in Reykjavík, handled the digital development and design of the exhibition that opened in October 2021. Innagural guests included Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and President of Iceland Guðni Th. Johannesson.

In 2022, over 800 visitors, including foreign delegations, investors, and company representatives interested in learning about Icelandic energy ideas and green solutions, checked out the exhibition.

In the attached photos, you can see the visitors exploring the exhibition and testing its interactive features.
