Janet Lin, Associate Professor in operation and maintenance engineering at Luleå University of Technology, continues to pursue a career in the global technical association Reliability Society, now elected to be Vice President.

“I am very humble and honourably as one of the Vice Presidents for IEEE Reliability Society from January 2023. I feel trusted and responsible. I am sincerely grateful for all support and look forward to the new platform,” says Janet Lin.

Before this election, Dr. Janet Lin has successfully initiated The IEEE Reliability Society Sweden and Norway joint section chapter since May 2021 and become as its Chair since then. She has also been elected to be IEEE Reliability Society Administrative Committee (ADCOM) in December 2021.

“I will be listening to our members’ voices and to enhance the membership benefits in multiple dimensions such as active member engagement, publications, new technical activities, and other initiatives. I look forward to serving our community in this new role and working together to embrace growth and excellence,” says Janet Lin.
