Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir, Minister of University, Industry and Innovation and “Minister of the Golden Egg” gave an inspiring speech at the end of the Masterclass of the Golden Egg to the great fascination of the attendees who filled the groove hall. There was a record-breaking Masterclass and all who registered will compete to make it to the Top 10, thus having a chance to win Gulleggið 2023.
Good-natured speakers appeared at the 2023 Golden Egg Masterclass all received good reflections from curious participants of the Golden Egg, but they barely had a chance to answer questions. Competitors who advance to the Top 10 continue to work in their presentations with the help of industry experts, and additionally receive performance training so that it is up to 10 for the main competition. Blush’s founder Gerður Arinbjarnardóttir first came on stage with a lot of applause, but there was a lot of excitement about her talk.
Observed in Blush that “Gulleggið is an excellent platform for individuals or groups to acquire knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship. Whether you have an idea or not, everyone should be able to learn something or be inspired by an idea.”
Other speakers at the Masterclass of Gullegginn included Alma Dóra Ríkarðsdóttir, one of the founders of HEIMA, Sunna Halla Einarsdóttir, CFO. KLAK and Taktikal, Guðjón Már Guðjónsson or Guðjón in Oz, Oddur Ólafsson one of the founders of HorseDay, Kristján Schram at Instrúment and Atli Björgvinsson Marketing Manager.

Gulleggið the entrepreneurial competition is held by KLAK – Icelandic Startups and has taken place annually since 2008. The purpose is for new ideas to gain ground and bring experienced entrepreneurs, investors and experts to the competition each year, providing guidance and giving feedback.
