Representatives from the eight Arctic States gathered this week in Fairbanks for the 10th biennial Arctic Council Ministerial meeting. The centerpiece of the “Week of the Arctic” with events in Anchorage and Fairbanks, the meeting will see Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Thursday hand over chairmanship of the council — which the U.S. has held for two years — to Finland.
