🇮🇸 Ten rising startup stars participate in Startup SuperNova 2024
Ten start-up companies have been selected to participate in the business accelerator Startup SuperNova 2024. The teams were announced at an open event in the Greek Idea House, and the entrepreneurs had the first opportunity to present their projects in front of investors, people from the innovation environment and other guests. All applications went through a long and rigorous process, with sponsors and investors participating in the review of applications.
“We at KLAK – Icelandic Startups wish all ten start-ups the best of luck in getting into the business accelerator and look forward to welcoming them at the beginning of August at KLAK’s headquarters, Mýrinni in Gróska ídaðahús when the accelerator starts. It was very nice to see how diverse and strong the applications we received this year. We encourage all applicants to continue working on their projects and thank Startup SuperNova’s backers and investors for their help in reviewing the applications.” says Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir, managing director of Klak – Icelandic Startups.
“It’s quite clear that there is no shortage of good ideas out there considering the number of applications we received into the accelerator. It is therefore really fun to be able to give these ten cool start-ups who found out the opportunity to take their ideas further through Startup SuperNova“, says Sigurbjörn Ari Sigurbjörnsson, Nova’s marketing director.
Startup SuperNova is a joint venture between Nova, KLAK – Icelandic Startups and Huawei with support from Gróska ideokadahús, where they strive to build business solutions intended for the international market. The accelerator begins on August 6 and ends with Investor Day on September 20.
